Cloud Data Solutions Architect

Job Summary:

  • Develop and implement scalable, secure, high-performance cloud data solutions using Databricks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build enterprise-level data pipelines and ETL processes on Databricks.
  • Lead the architecture and implementation of large-scale data solutions on cloud platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and data-driven solutions.
  • Optimize data workflows for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability on cloud infrastructure.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources into Delta Lake and cloud-based data warehouses.
  • Implement best practices in data governance, security, quality management, and compliance.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
  • Troubleshoot issues in data pipelines to ensure high data availability and integrity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Cloud Data Engineering.
  • Proven expertise in Databricks (including Databricks SQL, Delta Lake, and MLflow).
  • Strong experience with PySpark, Spark SQL, Scala, and cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud migration, deployment, and management.
  • Proficiency in data modeling, ETL development, data warehousing concepts, and big data ecosystems.
  • Solid understanding of cloud security, compliance, and scalability.
  • Strong SQL development skills with a focus on performance tuning.
  • Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
