Cloud Solutions Developer Position

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining technical solutions in Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications with a strong focus on integration technologies (OIC, REST/SOAP APIs) and BI Publisher/OTBI reporting.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering expert-level services as a technical consultant to the ERP team. This includes collaborating with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements, identifying opportunities for process improvements, and implementing efficient solutions that meet organizational needs.

Broadly speaking, this position entails developing and supporting integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud and third-party systems using various technologies such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP web services, FTP/SFTP, file-based integrations (FBDI), and configuring OIC adapters (ERP, HCM, FTP, REST, SOAP, etc.). Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting integration issues, handling error handling and reprocessing, and optimizing report performance and layout based on user requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Integration Services:
    • Develop custom integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud and external systems using a range of technologies including OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, and FBDI.
    • Configure and manage OIC adapters to facilitate seamless data exchange between systems.
    • Maintain existing integrations to ensure they continue to operate efficiently and effectively.
  2. Reporting Expertise:
    • Design and develop reports using BI Publisher, OTBI, and Smart View to provide stakeholders with actionable insights into business operations.
    • Create complex data models, templates, and bursting reports to support decision-making across the organization.
