The role of a DevOps Engineer involves the creation and setup of new development tools and infrastructure. This necessitates expertise in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), as well as cloud technologies, container orchestration, and security measures.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Designing and managing cloud infrastructure for observability platforms
  • Implementing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in DevOps engineering
  • Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible
  • A deep understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment methodologies

Bonus Skills and Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Azure DevOps experience
  • Google Cloud DevOps Services knowledge

This role entails collaboration with various teams to enhance operational efficiency, participating in knowledge sharing sessions, and providing solutions to problems across multiple teams. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering and a strong grasp of CI/CD methodologies.
