Job Title: Java Backend Developer

As a seasoned backend developer, you will be responsible for implementing and documenting new software components to drive business growth.

Skillset:

  • Java Backend Development
  • Microservices Architecture
  • Spring Boot & API Development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement robust software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Develop a deep understanding of code and its broader technical and business context.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cutting-edge software features.
  • Work closely with Product to understand requirements and contribute to release planning.
  • Ensure high testability and quality of delivered software.
  • Partner with QA and Operations teams to troubleshoot and fix defects in software.
  • Drive the adoption of agile methodologies and Scrum process within the company.
  • Strong knowledge of Java, Springboot, RESTful APIs, Microservice design, and how to design service to service interactions.
  • Good to have strong database skills (SQL, MySQL & ORACLE).
  • Extensive experience working in previous projects as a backend developer/lead, with a deep understanding of architecture, overall business run for the project.
  • Understanding of cloud services (AWS preferred) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Lead by example, mentoring and coaching team members on best practices and performing code reviews.
  • A self-motivated teammate who excels in a reciprocal environment.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, or a related field of study.
