Artisan Craftsman

Job Description
As an Artisan Craftsman at Naukripay, you will utilize your technical skills to design and produce items such as pottery, jewelry, and textiles. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Design and production: Creating new and innovative designs to meet client demands
• Operating equipment: Safely operating specialist equipment to shape materials like glass, wood, and ceramics
• Creativity: Developing unique and creative ideas to stay ahead of the competition
• Creating models: Making detailed sketches, templates, or models to guide your work
• Processing materials: Cutting, shaping, fitting, joining, molding, or otherwise processing materials using hand tools, power tools, or machinery

As a skilled artisan, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of materials, including natural, indigenous, modern, non-traditional, or even upcycled industrial materials. Additionally, you will be required to develop entrepreneurial skills to adapt to future labor markets, including creativity, vision, motivation, perseverance, economic literacy, teamwork, and sustainable thinking.

Requirements
• Meeting with clients virtually or during sales visits to discuss product designs and pricing
• Demonstrating and presenting products to potential clients to showcase your skills and expertise
• Establishing new business relationships with clients and suppliers to ensure a steady supply of materials and a strong customer base
• Maintaining accurate records of sales, expenses, and inventory levels to ensure the smooth operation of the business
• Attending trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
• Reviewing sales performance to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed
• Negotiating contracts and packages with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
