About this Role

We are seeking highly skilled professionals to join our Investment Team at Neo Asset Management. As an investment analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our Infrastructure Buy-out Fund.

This is an exciting opportunity for talented individuals who can demonstrate their expertise in infrastructure investments and drive business growth through strategic deal analysis and execution.

Key Responsibilities

New Deal Opportunity Analysis:

Conduct thorough analysis of new deal opportunities across the infrastructure landscape, considering nuanced market dynamics and regulatory requirements.

Evaluate the deal and assess whether it fits into the fund's investment framework.

Deal Pursuit and Structuring:

Identify and pursue attractive investment opportunities aligned with the fund's investment strategy, considering the unique characteristics of infrastructure transactions.

Develop detailed financial models tailored to the complexities of infrastructure investments, incorporating nuanced factors pertaining to debt, tax etc.

Documentation and Presentation:

Prepare comprehensive memos and investment proposals for review by senior management and investment committees, articulating the unique aspects of each opportunity and proposing appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

Portfolio Monitoring & Risk Management:

Monitor portfolio performance, undertake timely reviews and assess risks, leveraging specialized tools and methodologies.

Stay abreast of market nuances, regulatory changes, and industry developments affecting the infrastructure sector, proactively adapting investment strategies and risk management practices accordingly.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A strong understanding of infrastructure investments and the ability to analyze complex deal opportunities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate and assess risks effectively.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and recommendations effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • A relevant qualification such as an MBA from a Tier 1 institution or CA (Rankers preferred).
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in the infrastructure space within a buy-side or sell-side environment.
