About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Java Developer to join our team at ValueMomentum. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native solutions using Spring Boot, Angular, and AWS.

Your primary focus will be on re-engineering legacy applications to modern, scalable, and secure solutions. You will work closely with our lead developer and architect to align with technical goals and ensure the highest quality of code.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and reverse-engineer existing applications to understand their functionality, architecture, and business logic.
  • Document technical and functional requirements from existing sources.
  • Develop software aligning to technical requirements and architecture.
  • Implement AppSync APIs interacting with Java and Python applications.
  • Contribute to UI development using Angular.
  • Work with the lead developer and architect to align with technical goals.

Requirements:

  • Expert-level proficiency in Java, Angular, and relevant frameworks.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Must have experience in building web applications using Angular frameworks.
  • Desirable experience in building applications using ReactJS.
  • Proven experience in reverse engineering and rewriting legacy applications.
  • Decent exposure with AWS AppSync and GraphQL for API development.
  • Proficient in code analysis, reverse engineering, and transforming legacy code.
