Job Overview

Job Title : Software Engineer - Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will design, develop, and maintain complex software systems using Java.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java (Java 8+) and/or Go.
  2. Develop Microservices using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and related frameworks.
  3. Build and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless service-to-service communication.
  4. Work with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch) databases, focusing on data modeling, performance tuning, and optimization.
  5. Implement event-driven architectures using messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
  6. Deploy applications using Docker containers and manage orchestration with Kubernetes.
  7. Utilize cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for scalable and resilient architecture design.
  8. Manage code repositories with Git and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  9. Ensure high performance, scalability, and low latency in distributed systems.
  10. Follow Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  11. Conduct integration testing to ensure interoperability with wireless and wired devices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years (Mid-level) / 7+ years (Senior-level) of professional Java development experience.
  2. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
  3. Proven track record in developing and deploying Microservices architectures.
  4. Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  5. Proficiency in working with REST APIs and web services integration.
  6. Familiarity with cloud-native application design and deployment.
  7. Experience in performance optimization for high-traffic systems.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Exposure to Go programming.
  2. Experience with Elasticsearch for search optimization.
  3. Familiarity with DevOps practices and automated testing frameworks.
