Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript). This involves creating and executing test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of our web applications.

Specifically, your tasks will include performing functional, regression, and smoke testing of web applications. You will also collaborate with developers and product teams to understand features and requirements, identify, document, and track bugs and issues, and participate in code reviews to improve test coverage.

Additionally, you will maintain test data and test environments, and contribute to improving test strategies and automation frameworks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
  • Hands-on experience in Playwright for web testing.
  • A strong understanding of testing concepts, defect lifecycle, and Agile practices.
  • Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with Git and CI tools (like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).

Nice to Have

While not required, having experience with other automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress), familiarity with REST API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.), or knowledge of performance or security testing would be a definite plus.
