Design Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive design professional to join our R&D group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing various products, managing engineering changes, and ensuring project goals related to time, cost, and quality are achieved.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Design: Responsible for designing products such as connectors, panels, enclosures, patch cords, wall plates, I/O cables, cable managers, wall plate modules, etc.
  • Engineering Functions: Execute various engineering functions including Engineering Change Management, Customer drawing creation, Migration of CAD data to PDM, Legacy conversion of 2D data to 3D, Engineering and product specification creation, and controlling of engineering documents.
  • Project Planning: Prepare schedules for projects and follow up with supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and product management teams to ensure that time, cost, and quality goals are achieved.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree: Mechanical, Industrial, Production, Tool & Die making, or related field.
  • Experience: New Product Design & Development, Proficiency in Engineering Change Management, Familiarity with PDM (Product Data Management), CAD (Computer-Aided Design), and knowledge of Analysis software.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, Good communication & presentation skills, Strong learning skills, capable of acquiring new knowledge rapidly, Good understanding of reading Drawings, Experience in Project Management.
