Embedded System Test Specialist

Overview of the Role:
This position involves working with embedded systems, microcontrollers, sensors, and hardware interfaces to ensure product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop in-depth knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and hardware interfaces.
- Programming skills in C or C++ are essential for creating test scripts and automating regression testing.
- Understanding of Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and Linux-based embedded platforms is necessary for debugging tools and firmware debugging techniques.
- Proficiency in debugging tools, JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and firmware debugging techniques is required.
- Experience with version control systems like Git for managing codebases and collaborating with developers is beneficial.
Technical Skills and Qualifications:
- Design and execute test plans, write test cases, and perform manual and automated tests using programming languages like Python or Bash.
- Track and communicate issues using tools like Jira or Bugzilla, ensuring that failures are diagnosed and resolved effectively.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure product quality and integrity through thorough testing and validation.
