Job Title:
Ariba Functional Implementation Specialist
Job Summary:

Ariba functional implementation specialists are responsible for implementing and configuring Ariba solutions to meet business needs. They work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, design functional specifications, and develop enablement materials.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ariba Upstream Modules: Sourcing, Guided Sourcing, Contract Management, Supplier Lifecycle Management (SLM), Supplier Risk, Performance & Modular Questionnaires
  • Functional Implementation: Requirement Gathering & Fit-Gap Analysis, Enablement Workbook Creation, Functional Specifications, UAT/Test Script Preparation, Cutover Planning & Go-live Execution
  • Template Configuration: Sourcing Request, Sourcing Project, Bid Event Templates, Contract Request & Contract Workspace, Project Email Templates, Supplier Request/Registration Templates, Approval Workflow Design
  • Integration & Data Management: Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG), SAP S/4HANA or ECC (Master & Transactional Data), Endpoint & Integration Manager Configuration, User Matrix, User Group, User Data

Technical Skills:

  • SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing (P2P modules)
  • SAP MM (Material Management)
  • Product Sourcing & Supplier Management Best Practices
  • CLID Setup, Legacy Contract Load
  • Digital Signature Integration (e.g., DocuSign/Adobe)

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Proactive, independent, and delivery-focused approach
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid (onsite+remote) setup
