GIS Analyst Role

The ideal candidate will have expertise in spatial data analysis and visualization using ArcGIS, QGIS, and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, analyze, and interpret spatial data using ArcGIS, QGIS, and other GIS tools.
  • Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI to communicate geographic trends and insights effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver spatial solutions.
  • Perform data cleaning, processing, and integration of geospatial datasets from various sources.
  • Support site selection, environmental analysis, demographic mapping, and other GIS-related studies.
  • Maintain and update GIS databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Generate reports, maps, and presentations to support project stakeholders and decision-makers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geoinformatics, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or related fields.
  • 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in GIS data analysis and mapping.
  • Strong experience with ArcGIS, QGIS, and related spatial analysis tools.
  • Proficient in data visualization and reporting using Power BI.
  • Experience in integrating GIS with other data platforms and workflows.
  • Solid understanding of coordinate systems, spatial data formats, and geoprocessing tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
