Senior ETL Specialist Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ETL Specialist to lead our data extraction, transformation, and loading initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to leverage their technical expertise in designing, developing, and implementing efficient ETL processes.

The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in SQL, data validation, querying, and analysis, as well as experience with test automation tools and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop ETL processes using Informatica, Talend, SSIS, AWS Glue, or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize data warehouses, data models, and database management systems (DBMS) such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
  • Develop comprehensive testing strategies for ETL processes, ensuring high-quality data validation, querying, and analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in ETL testing, data quality assurance, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with large-scale data environments, data lakes, or cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Shell scripting for test automation.

In this role, you will work closely with data engineers to integrate testing in DevOps environments and implement CI/CD pipelines.

You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies for ETL processes, ensuring high-quality data validation, querying, and analysis.

This position requires a strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, data models, and DBMS, as well as experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
