Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Energy Storage Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing battery-based energy storage systems, as well as reviewing technical documents and installations to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Battery System Design: Electrical design of battery-based energy storage systems, including PCS, BMS, EMS, and SCADA designs.
  2. Compliance Review: Due diligence and owner's engineer experience to review technical documents and installations for compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
  3. Battery Technology Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of fundamental aspects and main characteristics of current battery technologies and their relation to battery parameters.
  4. Project Management: Project management of bids and projects throughout their life cycle, including electrical testing and training sessions.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
  2. A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a relevant engineering field.
  3. Excellent electrical knowledge, reading comprehension of electrical and mechanical schematics, and technical manual analysis.
  4. Strong organizational, communication, analytical, planning, time management, and customer service skills.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
