Strategic Enterprise Data Architect

Work Location: Remote, UK shift

12+ Years of experience in data warehousing, data integration, and analytics are required.

We seek an experienced Strategic Enterprise Data Architect to drive enterprise data strategy, architecture, and implementation on Datasphere. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP BW/4HANA, HANA modeling, and cloud data warehousing with proven experience in leading migration and transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the end-to-end solution architecture for Datasphere implementation and integration with enterprise systems.
  • Lead migration strategy from SAP BW/4HANA and legacy warehouses to Datasphere.
  • Design and implement enterprise data models, semantic layers, and harmonized data views.
  • Define and enforce data governance, security, and compliance within Datasphere.
  • Collaborate with CXOs, business stakeholders, and IT teams to define a scalable data roadmap.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
  • Integrate Datasphere with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP S/4HANA, and 3rd party sources (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).
  • Ensure performance optimization, best practices, and reusable frameworks for data pipelines.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong expertise in SAP BW/4HANA, HANA modeling, SQL, and data architecture.
  • Proven experience in enterprise-scale data strategy and transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with SAP BTP services, APIs, and cloud integration.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and BI reporting tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
