Livelihood Specialist

The role of Livelihood Lead is pivotal in spearheading the implementation of livelihood activities for a project. Ensuring effective execution and upholding quality standards are core responsibilities.

1. Support project leads/teams in aligning livelihood activities with project design, activity plan, and quality standards.
2. Enhance technical quality through regular coordination with Director – Social Additionality.
3. Develop detailed implementation plans and budgets, and support teams in achieving objectives and targets.
4. Issue relevant directives and guidelines for timely and effective implementation of project activities.
5. Identify operational challenges and coordinate timely solutions with the project team and Director – SA.
6. Develop knowledge management products showcasing project impact.
7. Promote reflective practices to refine strategies and approaches.

1. Establish women-led Plastic Collection Centers and Collection Points within waste collector communities.
2. Launch e-tricycle-based plastic waste collection initiatives for informal waste collectors.
3. Implement skill training initiatives and develop market linkages for decent income opportunities.
