Job Title: Factory Medical Officer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Factory Medical Officer to oversee occupational health and safety in our industrial setting. This role involves conducting thorough hazard assessments, developing and implementing effective health procedures, and providing referral services with local hospitals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular occupational health hazard assessments & suggest improvements for workplace management.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements under Factories Act & Rajasthan Factories Rules.
  • Develop and implement general and occupational health procedures & protocols in line with ISO requirements and best practices.
  • Provide referral services with tie-up with local hospitals & specialists.
  • Guiding and assisting management in addressing and correcting Occupational Health issues.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Perform pre- and periodic medical examinations of workers and employees to ensure fitness before deployment.
  • Deliver first-aid care including emergency medical treatment.
  • Conduct statutory health check-ups and coordinate the visit of certifying surgeons.
  • Manage medicine stock and inventory, specific antidotes at site OHC.
  • Maintain accurate medical records as per Factories Act & Rules and ISO requirements.
  • Generate databases of employee health records with trends and provide necessary advice.
  • Impart health education, including advisory services on occupational hazards, first aid, personal hygiene, environmental sanitation, and safety.
  • Overall management of OHC to manage any medical emergencies.

Required Qualifications:

  • MBBS degree.
  • Diploma in Industrial Health (DIH) or Certificate of Training in Industrial Health recognized by state Government.

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum 1-8 years in managing OHC in an industrial set up.
