As a software engineer or senior software engineer at Welldoc, you will have the opportunity to design and build Android products and platforms using Java and Android. You will work closely with our product team to develop high-quality applications that meet the needs of our users.

Our ideal candidate has 2-6 years of experience in Android application development, proficiency in Java and Android, and strong knowledge of the Android SDK and different versions of Android. They should also have experience with Android UI design, material Design, and Android best practices.

In addition to your technical skills, you should be a great team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Time management is crucial for meeting work deadlines.

Responsibilities
• Designing, coding, and documenting designs
• Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
• Critical thinking and problem-solving

Requirements
• 2-6 years' experience in Android application development
• Proficiency in Java and Android
• Strong knowledge of the Android SDK and different versions of Android
• Experience with Android UI design, material Design, and Android best practices
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming concepts, multi-threading, synchronization, garbage collection, memory management, and data parsing
• Expertise in programming languages, debugging skills, data structures, clean coding expertise, and experience with various design patterns such as singleton, MVC, MVP, and Observer
• Familiarity with tools like SVN, JIRA, and Jenkins
• Experience with network API calls, cloud message APIs, push notifications, image loading, Google Play Services, and Firebase (Crashlytics, Analytics)
