Job Description

The role of a social media intern is to develop and execute marketing strategies that promote a brand, increase its online presence, and drive engagement and conversions.

Key responsibilities include creating engaging content for social media channels, managing online communities, analyzing metrics, and collaborating with the marketing team to optimize performance.
Here are some key aspects of the role:

  • Content Creation: Develop high-quality content for various social media platforms, including images, videos, and written posts.
  • Community Management: Engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster a positive online community.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Analyze social media metrics, such as engagement rates and follower growth, to optimize the strategy and report on performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure alignment with branding and messaging goals.
  • Paid Advertising: Create and manage paid social media campaigns, targeting specific audiences and optimizing ad performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A relevant degree, preferably with domain-specific courses.
  • Proven Experience: Prior experience working with social media, ideally 0-6 months.
  • Adaptability and Creativity: Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and adapt creative approaches accordingly.
  • Fluency in English: Strong proficiency in the English language is essential.
