Key Responsibilities- Test small components and features related to an Amazon device, application, or service.
- Follow SOPs and execute tasks assigned to you on a daily basis.
- Raise defects for all failures observed and track doubts related to the execution of test instructions through pre-defined mechanisms.
- Meet productivity and quality baselines.
- Acquire knowledge from peers, on-the-job training.
- Seek help from peers and/or your manager when instructions are unclear or if you are uncertain about a procedure.
Alexa Daily Essentials team tests components - Timers, Reminders, Calendars, Notes which are regularly used by customers, across different platforms - Alexa devices, Mobile - iOS/Android and Fire TVs. The primary charter is to test and certify software releases on the above mentioned platforms on a regular cadence. When there are new features or new devices the team gets to experience it first hand before launching to customers.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree.
- Knowledge of QA methodology and tools.
