Optics Specialist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled optics specialist to play a crucial role in shaping the electron-optical column, source, lenses, detector coupling, and imaging quality for reliable, high-resolution performance.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Own the electron-optical column end-to-end, from source to detector coupling.
  • Deliver high-resolution, stable imaging with clean contrast across use-cases.
  • Architect and align the column for high-resolution, low-drift performance.
  • Establish practical tuning workflows for production and service.

Essential Skills:

  • Deep experience in electron optics, including alignment, vacuum hardware, and lab metrology.
  • Comfortable moving between modeling (your solver of choice), bench work, and factory documentation.
  • Clear communicator who can turn complex optics into simple, teachable procedures.
