We are a subsidiary of Nikkiso Company Ltd, a leading industrial manufacturer headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our store department while maintaining excellent inventory accuracy and meeting all statutory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, with experience in implementing 5S activities and maintaining good housekeeping in a factory environment. You will also have excellent communication skills, with the ability to coach, counsel, and discipline employees as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage store and dispatch activities to ensure smooth functioning of the store department
- Implement 5S activities to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Maintain inventory accuracy through effective planning and coordination
- Prepare monthly reports on material usage and control costs
- Identify and segregate non-conforming materials in the stores
Work Environment:
This role requires a mix of office and store-related environments, with frequent physical checks of inventory and review of stock levels. You will work closely with other teams to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste generation.
Physical Demands:
This position requires regular sitting, standing, walking, and lifting files. You must be able to adjust focus and lift up to [insert weight limit] pounds as needed.
