Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Integration Specialist to develop and support B2B and Active Transfer integrations in webMethods 10.x version and webMethods.io. This role requires a deep understanding of integration architecture, software development, and customer-facing skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with IT Business and IT process owners to provide consulting and gather requirements and refine specifications. They will design new integrations for implementation in webMethods, develop and maintain existing integrations, analyze and resolve technical issues, and manage all aspects of building a solution including design, development, testing, QA, assist with UAT and migration to production and source code management.

The Integration Specialist will also work with customers to troubleshoot, analyze and resolve failures. In addition, they will set up and manage connections with external entities and backend systems, manage certificates, and ensure the smooth operation of integrations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Architecture Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of webMethods components (Integration Server, Trading Networks, Universal Messaging, Terracotta, Active Transfer, etc.) and webMethods.io is required.
  • Development Experience: Experience developing integrations using webMethods Flow Language and loose coupling design techniques via pub/sub messaging is essential.
  • SAP Experience: Familiarity with SAP Adapter and integrations with SAP through IDOC, RFC, and ODATA is a plus.
  • Industry Standards: Knowledge of B2B industry standards (EDI X12, UNEDIFACT, cXML, AS2, AS4) and generic data formats (XML, JSON, flat files, etc.) is necessary.
  • Network Protocols and Security: Understanding of network protocols (HTTP, SFTP, SMB, SOAP, REST, etc.) and encryptions/security (TLS, SSL, SSH, etc) is required.
  • Modern Authentication Solutions: Knowledge of OAuth, OIDC, JWT, and Azure AD configuration is desirable.
