Store Operations Specialist

The Store Executive is a pivotal role within the Reliance Industries Limited organization, responsible for ensuring seamless store operations while maintaining compliance with safety and statutory regulations.
This position requires strong leadership skills to effectively manage inventory, materials handling, and resource allocation. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain management, particularly in plant operations environments, and demonstrate expertise in relevant areas such as engineering, maintenance, planning, material handling, and procurement.
A key responsibility of this role is to ensure accurate and efficient receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, adhering to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Additionally, the Store Executive must maintain a safe working environment by following Health, Safety, Environment, and Fire (HSEF) guidelines and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing clear instructions and guidance to contract workers, ensuring their effective contribution to store activities. Effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders, including production, engineering, maintenance, and quality teams, are essential for achieving operational efficiency and meeting business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage inventory and materials handling processes to optimize resource utilization and minimize waste.
- Develop and implement SOPs for inventory management, receiving, storing, and issuing materials.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with HSEF guidelines and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide training and guidance to contract workers on store operations processes and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, receipts, and issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology (Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical).
- Minimum 2-9 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in plant operations environments.
- Experience in relevant areas such as engineering, maintenance, planning, material handling, and procurement.
- Familiarity with Petrochemical/refinery equipment and exposure to equipment spares, bulk materials, etc.
- Ability to handle store equipment (cranes, fork lifts, etc.).
- Knowledge of statutory regulations and safety hazards.
The estimated salary for this role is ₹12,50,000 - ₹18,00,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
