Cloud Engineer Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to ERF SaaS Customers, who are hosted in OCI Regions across the globe.
  • This role requires shift coverage with 24 x 7 Operations and working on Customer initiated tickets and internal tickets.
  • The Cloud Engineer will work on the tickets, follow change, release, problem, and incident management, and resolve the requests.
  • The engineer will also work, monitor the progress and collaborate with partner teams and customer support teams.
  • They will need to participate in customer calls, project and operations meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">
  • Cloud Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in cloud production support.
  • Education: B. Tech/ M. Tech / BCA / MCA in Computer/Electronics Engineering or equivalent degree.
  • Certifications and Trainings: Cloud Certification like Oracle, Google, Azure, AWS etc will be an advantage.

  • Hands on experience & expertise of Dockers & Kubernetes is necessary.
  • Working knowledge & experience of Oracle Database administration and maintenance.
  • Customer onboarding, provisioning, Go-Live readiness.
  • Basic knowledge of Gitlab CI-CD and Git tools are mandatory.
  • Working knowledge of Linux System Admin.
  • Automation & scripting skills, terraform, python, shell.
  • Well conversant with SaaS services and products.
  • Collaboration with Cloud Engineering and Product engineering teams.
  • Basic Networking knowledge and experience in using Load Balancer tools.
  • Knowledge of access and authorization tools and services like IDCS. IAM, WTSS etc.
