Job Title: Software Engineering Professional

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our IT technology team in a leading financial services organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop the next generation of business applications using cutting-edge technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development of new platform capabilities, focusing on real-time processing, analytics, and workflow optimization.
  • Provide technical expertise to solve complex business problems and enhance our digital leadership position.
  • Contribute to skill-aligned chapter constructs working across the Digital Operations platform to ensure effective solution delivery.
  • Assess new software projects and initiatives, providing recommendations for enhancement and support.
  • Conduct code reviews, test software as needed, and participate in application architecture and design phases.
  • Implement operational controls and procedures to ensure seamless transitions from test to production environments.

Requirements:

  • Java software engineer with 8+ years of experience.
  • Strong background in Core Java, Collections skills, and 8+ years of experience. Preferred experience with Java 8 features such as Lambda Expressions, Streams, etc.
  • Extensive experience with Spring Framework (Core / Boot / Integration).
  • Good knowledge of design patterns applicable to data streaming.
  • Experience with Apache Flink/Apache Kafka and ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash & Kibana) is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Flowable or similar BPMN/CMMN tooling is also highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies like Angular/JavaScript / React / Redux.
  • Familiarity with CI / CD (TeamCity / Jenkins), Git / GitHub /GitLab.
  • Familiarity with Docker/containerization technologies.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure.
  • Proven track record in an agile SDLC in a large-scale enterprise environment.
