Job Title: Professional Services Expert
  • The primary role of a Professional Services Expert is to deliver customized solutions to customers and partners, leveraging the company's products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver customer-centric solutions based on documented requirements
  • Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise in configuration and customization
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and budget-friendly projects
  • Function as the primary expert for company products
  • Work independently to develop customized solutions
  • Document all customer-specific configurations
  • Install company configurations in customer environments when necessary

Required Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interactions
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is an asset (e.g., French, German, Dutch)
  • Consultative communication style with active listening skills
  • Collaborative mindset with understanding of team objectives and goals
  • Adherence to established work schedules and plans
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong technical skills with experience in software development, architecture, and customization
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Application Services
  • SQL Server skills with knowledge of MS SQL Server architecture, design, and tuning
  • Experience writing scripts using SQL, PL/SQL, and ASP.NET programming languages
  • Understanding of functional design and technical project requirements
  • Working knowledge of domain areas such as AP, AR, Payroll, HR, etc. workflow, BPR, and/or SAP
  • Escalation of support issues with internal resources when necessary
  • Transfer of technical knowledge to team members
  • Accurate documentation of all work
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio)

Qualifications:

  • Experience with company products or equivalent from both functional and technical perspectives
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related specialization
  • 3+ years of experience in the field or a related area preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and attention to detail
  • Consultative communication style with active listening skills
  • Good presentation and organization skills
  • Ability to collect and document business requirements, technical requirements, and process flows
