Strategic Operations Lead

The Strategic Operations Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless supply chain management, driving timely delivery of goods and services. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and an in-depth understanding of strategic operations principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement & Sourcing: Assist in identifying and procuring raw materials, excipients, and packaging materials as per production requirements. Process purchase orders (POs) in ERP systems.
  • Inventory & Material Management: Monitor stock levels to maintain optimal inventory without overstocking or stock-outs. Coordinate with production and warehouse teams for material availability and replenishment planning.
  • Logistics & Distribution: Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods to distributors, C&F agents, or export destinations. Liaise with transporters, courier agencies, and freight forwarders.
  • Vendor & Supplier Management: Foster relationships with existing suppliers and evaluate new suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure SCM activities adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Coordination & Reporting: Collaborate with production, QA/QC, and finance teams for smooth SCM operations. Prepare and present periodic reports on procurement, inventory status, and supply chain performance.

Effective communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential for this role. The ideal candidate will possess experience in strategic operations and supply chain management.
