Cloud Computing Professional

This position requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to develop, implement, and manage a multi-cloud platform for cloud-based microservice products. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of Linux OS and open-source tooling, as well as experience with AWS services (ECS, EKS, IAM, VPC) or equivalent Azure technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Critical Infrastructure Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, resilient cloud capabilities with high availability.
  • Multi-Cloud Environment Management: Manage and support multi-cloud environments across various platforms.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Build and manage IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Optimization: Implement and maintain CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab-CI.
  • Automation and Scripting: Automate tasks related to infrastructure, configuration, and deployment using scripting languages.
  • Production Environment Operations: Operate and monitor production environments to meet SLAs and compliance standards.
  • Collaboration and Escalation: Collaborate with teams across networking, security, compute, and storage domains, and provide Level-3 escalation support for high-severity events.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously optimize DevOps processes, infrastructure, and toolchains.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of Linux OS and open-source tooling, advanced experience with AWS services (ECS, EKS, IAM, VPC) or equivalent Azure technologies.
  • Programming and Scripting Skills: Strong automation skills using Jenkins, GitLab-CI, Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, programming skills in Python or Go, and scripting skills in Bash or PowerShell.
  • Microservices Architecture and GitOps Practices: Experience developing REST APIs and Kubernetes operators, strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
  • Agile Methodologies and Collaboration: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and milestone tracking, excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.
