Technical Visionary

We're seeking an Engineering Lead / Architect to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of our next-generation voice AI platform. This role requires a unique blend of deep technical expertise and hands-on leadership - shaping architecture, mentoring engineers, and ensuring we deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that meet evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the overall technical vision and system design of our platform (including APIs, services, data layers, and integrations)
  • Choose suitable technologies, frameworks, and tools to align with strategic objectives
  • Develop and review API contracts, data models, and infrastructure components to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance
  • Break down complex product features into detailed engineering tasks and estimate effort accurately
  • Establish and enforce coding standards, security practices, and performance guidelines to maintain consistency and quality
  • Mentor, coach, and review code from engineering team members to foster growth and improvement
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, quality, and timely delivery of projects
  • Oversee scalability, reliability, and cost optimization of cloud infrastructure to minimize operational risks and maximize ROI
  • Contribute hands-on to critical components, especially during initial builds or high-impact phases to drive innovation and results

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of engineering experience, with 2+ years in a lead or architect role
  • Strong experience designing and building large-scale, distributed systems (preferably cloud-native, microservices)
  • Deep knowledge of API design, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and event-driven architectures
  • Hands-on expertise with technologies such as Node.js or TypeScript (with Python being an additional advantage)
  • Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD, security best practices, and monitoring to ensure optimal system performance and availability
