Job Opportunity: Senior Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in defining the software architecture of our product.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, preferably in the automotive industry, and excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for architecting the software framework for automotive SoC systems, considering performance, power efficiency, and safety-critical requirements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Orient software components towards optimal performance under real-time constraints and resource-efficient usage.
  • Analyze system performance and propose enhancements to meet automotive standards.
  • Support Intellectual Property activities by generating Invention Disclosure Memos for patent applications.
  • Contribute to design reviews across algorithm teams.
  • Explore new business opportunities and consider next-generation algorithms.
  • Develop algorithms for implementation on embedded DSP platforms.
  • Represent us at Industry Working Groups and Conferences as directed.
  • Support training sessions within your area of expertise.
  • Maintain relationships with university counterparts.
  • Enhance competencies in automotive vision-based ADAS, computer vision, and C++.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and suggest/implement improvements.
  • Research state-of-the-art deep learning and computer vision approaches.
  • Provide expertise in CV/DL functions design.
  • Research, develop, benchmark, test, and document CV/DP algorithms for autonomous driving applications.
  • Investigate new vision technologies, ideas, and approaches.
  • Evaluate software architecture against safety and security standards relevant to automotive systems.
  • Collaborate with safety engineers on risk assessments and safety-critical software components.
Additional Expectations
  • Ensure engineering discipline solutions adhere to standards.
  • Support engineering discipline design review.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines and request hierarchical support when necessary.
  • Capture knowledge through standardization, specifications, technical reports, processes, and guidelines.
Requirements Management
  • Contribute inputs and requirements for engineering discipline development.
  • Interface with customers for engineering discipline architecture content.
  • Help refine functions into suitable subsystems (system - mechanical - software - hardware).
System Architecture
  • Translate system requirements into engineering discipline requirements.
  • In collaboration with various competences (engineering disciplines), define functions into suitable subsystems (software).
  • Ensure interoperability among all subsystems.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in C, C++, or rapid prototyping skills using Enterprise Architect for modeling, experience with Doors.
  • Fundamental understanding of computer vision algorithms and approaches.
  • Excellent English language communication skills.
  • High level of innovation and motivation.
  • Outstanding research experience.
  • Familiarity with automotive software standards like AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, and communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet.
  • Experience with QNX/Safertos, freeRTOS.
Education and Background
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in software development, preferably in the automotive industry.
