Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Financial Growth Strategy:
  • Develop and execute a financial strategy to scale Hardline (consumer durables) and Softline (fashion/lifestyle) brands into market-leading positions across Asia, achieving robust revenue growth with sustainable profit margins.

Harness Digital Capabilities:

  • Utilize Opptra's platform – combining local market expertise, advanced tech, and a strong supply chain – to unlock expansion into new markets, contributing to the vision of taking brands 'from anywhere to everywhere' in the world.

Optimize Demand Planning:

  • Deploy AI-powered forecasting and data analytics to optimize demand planning, inventory investment, and pricing for high-value durable products, accelerating product launch cycles and long-term growth.

Establish Financial Foundations:

  • Set up solid financial foundations to support both new product line launches (0→1) and scaling of existing lines (1→10), ensuring disciplined capital allocation, risk management, and governance throughout growth stages.

Requirements

  • Experience:
  • 4-5 years of finance experience (business finance), including significant exposure to retail/e-commerce in fashion or softline categories across Asian markets. Familiar with fast product cycles, seasonal demand, and consumer trend dynamics.
  • Skills:
  • Deep understanding of multi-channel retail (online/offline) and cross-border operations in Asia (India, GCC, SEA), with hands-on experience navigating diverse regulatory environments and local market nuances.
  • Expertise:
  • Strong strategic finance and business partnership skills – able to collaborate with cross-functional teams (merchandising, marketing, supply chain) and influence decisions to drive growth and margin improvement.
  • Data-Driven Approach:
  • Data-driven and tech-savvy – experienced in leveraging modern tools (BI systems, automation, AI) for forecasting, scenario analysis, and decision support to enhance the speed and quality of financial insights.
