Job Description

Academian seeks a highly skilled Senior Workday Functional Consultant to join our offshore team and drive the successful implementation and configuration of Workday solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity for growth in Product Management, functional consulting, and business operations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong Business Analyst skills combined with Workday functional expertise, enabling them to understand complex business processes and translate them into effective Workday configurations. They will work closely with stakeholders, translate business requirements into actionable plans, and configure and maintain Workday modules as per business needs.

Responsibilities include partnering with business stakeholders and Product Management to understand requirements and business needs, translating business requirements into Workday configurations, configuring and maintaining Workday modules, preparing functional documentation, workflows, and supporting testing cycles, ensuring timely delivery of Workday configurations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and optimize solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant, with at least 2–3 years working with Workday configurations.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and business workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday HCM and relevant modules (certifications preferred).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in Agile environments, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
