    Software Quality Assurance Manager Position Available

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the software testing process and ensuring high-quality products are delivered to customers. This role requires a strong background in quality assurance methodologies, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Must hold a B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Information Systems, Computer Science or related fields.
  • Minimum 7+ years of professional work experience in Software Testing – Manual & Automation and Quality Assurance practice.
  • Experience with Trade Finance platforms (Trade Finance modules in large core banking platforms like Flexcube, Finacle, Temenos T24, Finastra, etc.)
  • Skilled in testing web applications, databases, and APIs.
  • Expertise in performing Functional and Non-Functional testing types such as System, Integration, Regression, Database, Performance, Stress, etc.
  • Proficient in designing and developing Test Automation Frameworks using relevant code libraries.
  • Knowledgeable about Selenium Webdrivers, TestNG, etc.
  • Ability to work independently as a Senior Test Engineer and collaborate effectively in a team.
  • Strong background in Quality Assurance methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Rest APIs and database technologies like SQL server, MySQL, etc.
  • Experience in configuration management, version control, etc.
  • Proven ability to adapt to changing requirements and learn new tools and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills for written and verbal interactions.
  • Strong track record of delivering excellent results to clients.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while integrating with the Implementation Services team.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Financial Services knowledge is beneficial.
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Understand software requirements.
  • Develop test plans collaboratively with Leads/Managers.
  • Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Implement Quality Assurance best practices.
  • Develop complex test data sets for testing.
  • Identify and select test cases for automation and/or create, enhance, debug, and execute automation test cases.
  • Execute tests (manual / automated [Selenium, TestNG, Maven, BDD framework]).
  • Develop automated test scripts using Selenium and BDD framework.
  • Suggest improvements on the automation framework.
  • Report defects and assist developers in their understanding.
  • Analyze test results and track software testing metrics.
  • Prepare and present test reports.
  • Train and mentor junior software test engineers.
  • Manage defect tracking and monitor progress.
  • Maximize test coverage and reduce defects.
  • Communicate and collaborate with product developers, managers, and peers.
  • Adhere to coding standards and best practices.
