Junior Data Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Data Engineer to join our team. As a Junior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for building data pipelines and automation scripts, supporting the implementation of analytical algorithms under guidance, and contributing to documentation and testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build data pipelines and automation scripts using Python programming language.
  • Support the implementation of analytical algorithms under guidance from senior engineers.
  • Develop and test API endpoints using RESTful API concepts.
  • Work with databases for data extraction and basic queries using SQL.
  • Contribute to documentation and testing processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Leverage LLM integration techniques to improve software functionality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fresh graduate or 0-1 year experience in software development with strong foundation in Python programming.
  • Basic understanding of data structures and algorithms with knowledge of Git version control.
  • Familiarity with SQL and database concepts, including PostgreSQL/MySQL and BigQuery.
  • Knowledge of web development frameworks and cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Academic projects involving data analysis or machine learning using Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and web development frameworks.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and eagerness to learn new technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities with ability to work in fast-paced startup environment.
