Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines in the cloud. This role requires a deep understanding of data engineering concepts and experience with tools such as Python, Data Flow, and BigQuery.

  • Data Pipeline Development: Develop and construct data acquisition pipelines for large volumes of structured and unstructured data, including batch and real-time processing.
  • Big Data Pipeline Architecture: Construct 'big data' pipeline architecture to meet business requirements.
  • Data Acquisition: Identify opportunities for data acquisition via working with stakeholders and business clients, and translate business needs to technical requirements.
  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Use logs & alerts to effectively monitor pipelines, and leverage DevOps and CI/CD practices to ensure reliability and scalability.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a data engineering role.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in cloud tools (Python, SQL, Data Flow, DataStream, CDC, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage).
