Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Airfield Engineering Team Lead to spearhead our Aviation team in India.

CORE Functions

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading airfield civil engineering projects from feasibility studies through to detailed design and construction.
  • Managing junior team members, planning their work, and delivering multiple technical engineering projects on time.
  • Preparing technical reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications related to airfield engineering projects.
  • Conducting technical design reviews to meet quality management requirements.
  • Participating in the design process, providing technical input, and communicating with team members and clients.
  • Identifying and managing design risks, issues, and RFIs.
  • Supporting Project Managers by monitoring project progress and developing project controls.
  • Implementing technical quality requirements, addressing project briefs, and meeting client deadlines.
  • Acting as a role model, line manager, and mentor for staff.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in civil infrastructure design at airports. They should be knowledgeable about international airfield design standards and proficient in using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and relevant software packages.

Desirable qualifications include Chartered or Incorporated Status and knowledge of construction contracts such as NEC 4.
