Job Opportunity:

As a seasoned Database Architect, you will have the opportunity to shape the architecture of our scalable and secure databases. Your expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance databases will be crucial in supporting AI-driven applications and optimizing storage, retrieval, and analytics pipelines.

You will collaborate closely with our AI/Engineering teams to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance, while also building and maintaining ETL pipelines to support AI/ML and analytics workflows.

  • Design and develop scalable database architectures (SQL & NoSQL) that meet the needs of our cutting-edge AI-driven data ecosystems.
  • Optimize database queries, indexing, and performance tuning to ensure seamless execution of complex operations.
  • Ensure data security, compliance, backup, and disaster recovery strategies are in place to safeguard our valuable data assets.
  • Build and maintain ETL pipelines to support AI/ML and analytics workflows, ensuring efficient data processing and analysis.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers on vector databases and RAG pipelines to drive innovation and growth.
  • Integrate databases with APIs, CRMs, and external systems to create a cohesive and streamlined data infrastructure.
  • Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability to ensure high uptime and performance.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, etc.).
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, etc.).
  • Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, FAISS) is a plus.
  • Expertise in database optimization, indexing, and partitioning.
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data modeling.
  • Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL, Azure SQL).
  • Familiarity with backup, replication, and high availability strategies.
  • Strong Python/SQL scripting skills for automation.
