Professor of Anatomy

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Professor in Anatomy to provide academic leadership, teaching, research, and clinical skills training.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding undergraduate and postgraduate medical students, supervising research activities, contributing to curriculum development, and ensuring excellence in academic standards in alignment with the Medical Council of India (NMC) regulations.

• Academic & Teaching:
  • Deliver high-quality lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in Anatomy for MBBS, BDS, Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences students.
  • Guide postgraduate students in advanced anatomical studies, thesis writing, and seminars.
  • Develop innovative teaching methodologies including digital anatomy, simulation-based training, and cadaveric dissection.
  • Design and update the Anatomy curriculum as per NMC guidelines.
• Research & Publications:
  • Conduct and supervise original research projects in gross anatomy, histology, embryology, neuroanatomy, and clinical applications.
  • Publish research papers in reputed peer-reviewed national and international journals.
  • Guide Ph.D. scholars and postgraduate students in research methodology and publications.
  • Collaborate with other departments and external institutions on interdisciplinary research.
• Administrative & Leadership:
  • Serve as Head/Coordinator of the Department (if designated).
  • Organize academic events such as CMEs, workshops, conferences, and webinars.
  • Maintain departmental records, cadaver procurement, and laboratory resources.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
• Clinical Skills & Simulation:
  • Oversee Clinical Skills & Simulation Lab (if applicable).
  • Integrate anatomical knowledge with clinical case discussions and surgical correlations.
  • Promote cadaveric skill training for surgeons and postgraduate students.
  Qualifications & Experience:
  • MD (Anatomy) / MS (Anatomy) or equivalent recognized qualification.
  • 8+ Years of teaching experience in Anatomy as per NMC norms.
  • Strong academic background with evidence of research publications in indexed journals.
  • Experience in curriculum development, e-learning, and modern teaching methodologies preferred.
