Job Title – Jr Software Engineer (Java)

Experience: 3+ years

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Developer to join our dynamic team at 10decoders. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using Java, Spring boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate frameworks. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual with a solid foundation in Java development and a passion for building robust and scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Java-based applications using industry best practices and coding standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software architects, designers, and testers, to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Design and implement efficient and reusable code modules, ensuring the application's performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and quality guidelines.

Troubleshoot and debug application issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure smooth functionality.

Work closely with the QA team to ensure proper testing and deployment of software applications.

Continuously enhance technical skills and stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Java development and related frameworks.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience (3-5 years) as a Java Developer, with a strong understanding of core Java concepts.

Expertise in Spring boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate frameworks.

Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and web services using Java and related frameworks.

Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.

Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.

Strong in unit testing related frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, or Mockito.

Proficient in using SonarQube for code quality and coverage analysis.

Familiar with Git code commit best practices, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.

Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
