Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS.

  • Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.
  • Assist in design, implementation, and maintenance of backup, high-availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Develop and monitor automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-prem resources.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and implement betterments to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments.
  • Administer company SaaS platforms to ensure the productivity of our users is our top priority.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and support application deployments.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior cloud engineers and other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, and evaluate their applicability to our infrastructure.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools (e.g., ECS, EKS) is a plus.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Proven hands-on experience supporting Okta SSO Platform.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies, including TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, and routing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
