Job Description:

The incumbent will be responsible for leading and managing a team of shop floor employees across multiple shifts. This involves allocating manpower efficiently to ensure smooth production operations, motivating and guiding the team to meet daily and monthly targets, monitoring and controlling shift operations, and ensuring timely achievement of production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute daily production plans
  • Supervise production activities and ensure alignment with quality and efficiency standards
  • Utilize SAP (PP Module) for production order tracking, material consumption, and reporting
  • Implement cycle time reduction initiatives to enhance throughput and machine utilization
  • Conduct root cause analysis to reduce rejection and improve first-pass yield
  • Promote and implement continuous improvement practices such as Kaizen
  • Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of ISO documents, daily reports, and other production records
  • Maintain 5S and safety standards across the shop floor
  • Participate in audits and compliance checks for ISO, safety, and quality systems
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures in materials, manpower, and process
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and minimize process deviations
  • Collaborate with maintenance and quality departments for preventive actions and downtime reduction
