Performance Test Lead Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Performance QA professional to join our team in India.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in performance testing, leadership skills, and proficiency in JMeter scripting.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain, and optimize sophisticated JMeter scripts for diverse applications and enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in performance monitoring and diagnostics using tools such as AppDynamics, DataDog, and other APM solutions.
  • Lead and mentor performance testing teams, establish performance testing standards, processes, and best practices.
  • Architect and oversee end-to-end performance testing strategies across multiple concurrent projects.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7+ years of total experience in performance testing and quality assurance.
  • Minimum 3+ years of proven leadership experience managing QA teams and projects.
  • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience with JMeter.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in JavaScript programming.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with AI tools in testing or performance analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex performance issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present findings to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours based on business requirements and project demands.
  • Experience with cloud-based performance testing and modern application architectures.
