Job Title: Revenue Recognition Associate

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Revenue Recognition Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring revenue recognition is performed accurately and in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition standard and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • They will be responsible for reviewing contracts to ensure revenue recognition alignment with accounting standards.
  • Additionally, they will prepare and post monthly journal entries for revenue and associated accounts.
  • Supporting quarterly and annual external audits will also be a critical part of the role.
  • Managers must possess excellent internal relationship management skills within the company.

Qualifications:

  • B Com graduate with 5-7 years of experience in accounting, preferably revenue accounting.
  • Public Accounting or professional services experience highly preferred.
  • CA / CPA certification or pursuing a CA/CPA a plus.

Key Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid oral and written communication skills, detail-oriented, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
