Electrical Component Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Component Specialist to join our team.

  • BOM Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of Bill of Materials (BOM) to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
  • BOM Cost Reduction: Develop and implement strategies to reduce BOM costs, ensuring optimal pricing and supply chain management.
  • Component Selection and Alternate Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for critical components, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Engineering Change Orders: Generate and review Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to ensure accuracy and completeness, minimizing delays and rework.
  • Component Obsolescence Management: Monitor component obsolescence, developing plans to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of supply.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Design Engineers, NPI, Operations, and Suppliers, to ensure seamless communication and execution of tasks.
  • BOM Structure Understanding: Possess in-depth knowledge of layered BOM structure and PLM system skills to manage complex product information.
  • Environmental Compliance: Participate in Value Engineering Studies (VES) and Customer processes to ensure environmental compliance, adhering to regulations such as RoHS, REACH, and Full Material Disclosures.
  • Customs Clearance: Prepare and submit necessary documents for customs clearance, ensuring accurate classification and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Product Quality Support: Provide support to product quality activities, including Root Cause Analysis (RC), Corrective Action Preventative Action (CAPA), and other quality initiatives.
