Finance Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic professional to join our finance team in Thrissur, India. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and a vision for a long-term career in finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting & Month-End Close Process:
    • Manage the month-end close process to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Pass journal entries, including adjustments, accruals, and provisions to ensure timely recording of financial transactions.
    • Analyze and reconcile account balances to identify discrepancies and errors.
  • Reconciliation & Auditing:
    • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
    • Reconcile payment gateway receipts to ensure accuracy and timeliness of payments.
    • Audit vendor invoices for errors and compliance with company policies.
  • Accounts Payable & Vendor Management:
    • Process and validate vendor invoices for timely payments and adherence to payment schedules.
    • Maintain accurate records of vendor payments and communicate with vendors as needed.
  • Accounts Receivable & Billing:
    • Issue and manage customer sales invoices to ensure timely collection of receivables.
    • Monitor receivables and maintain aging reports to identify potential issues and take corrective action.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
    • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies, maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
    • Organize and maintain financial documentation to facilitate audits and other reviews.
  • Operational & Ad-Hoc Activities:
    • Support daily financial operations essential for business continuity and success.
    • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to inform business decisions.
    • Identify and implement process improvements in collaboration with the finance team.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • CPA qualification or at least two CPA subjects cleared.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Learning attitude with a proactive approach to challenges.
