Job Title: Python Automation Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Python automation engineer to join our team in either Bengaluru or Chennai.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Python and related libraries.
    • Implement and integrate Robot Framework for comprehensive test automation across various system components.
    • Develop and execute detailed test cases, both manual and automated, to ensure thorough test coverage.
    • Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot network-related issues, working collaboratively with networking teams to resolve them effectively.
    • Contribute to the development and enhancement of existing automation frameworks and processes.
    • Evaluate quality assurance practices and standards throughout the automation development lifecycle.
    • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate automation seamlessly into the CI/CD pipeline.
    • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
    • Create and maintain clear and concise documentation for automation scripts, frameworks, and test results.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in automation, Python, Robot Framework, and networking.
    • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
Required Skills:

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Strong skills in process automation methodologies and best practices.
  • Proven experience with various automation tools and technologies beyond Robot Framework (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving network-related issues.
  • Solid experience in creating and executing test cases for functional, integration, and system testing.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance practices and standards.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language.
  • Strong hands-on experience with the Robot Framework for test automation.
