API Professional Role

A skilled professional with experience in functional and non-functional system testing is required to execute end-to-end testing, create test plans and cases, and collaborate with development teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing manual and automated API tests.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Create comprehensive test plans based on project requirements and technical designs.
  • Perform thorough functional and non-functional testing using software testing techniques.
  • Design and execute efficient manual and automated API tests.
  • Identify, report, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful test execution and completion.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in functional and non-functional system testing within the IT industry.
  • Familiarity with software testing methodologies such as boundary value analysis.
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI, and automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Appium would be beneficial.
  • Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, APIs (REST and SOAP), data formats (JSON, XML), data encryption, and digital signatures would be advantageous.
  • Awareness of software quality assurance methodologies such as TDD, BDD.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud technologies.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and communication skills, along with knowledge in Azure cloud technologies.
