As a Senior Counselling Associate, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the journeys of master's, PhD, and other postgraduate applicants from the first counselling session to program admissions.


This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who can provide personalized guidance on academics, extracurriculars, and application milestones to students and parents. You will be responsible for designing and overseeing structured mentorship schedules with external mentors while ensuring students receive consistent support.


The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of program-specific requirements for Master's, PhD, MBA, and other postgraduate degrees. You will need to be able to manage multiple high-stakes applications simultaneously while maintaining quality and providing exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in academic and professional writing.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized guidance on academics, extracurriculars, and application milestones to students and parents.
  • Design and oversee structured mentorship schedules with external mentors.
  • Conduct one-on-one profile evaluations, advising on academics, extracurriculars, summer schools, internships, and overall profile building.
  • Coach students through standardized test preparation and guide them on subject or curriculum equivalencies.
  • Assist in the drafting, reviewing, and refining of application essays, personal statements, activity lists, résumés, and recommendation letters.
  • Conduct mock interviews aligned with admissions standards of universities in the U.S., U.K., and Canada.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's and Master's degree in any discipline (preferably with personal experience of postgraduate study abroad).
  • 3–5 years of experience in postgraduate admissions counselling, higher education advisory, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of program-specific requirements for Master's, PhD, MBA, and other postgraduate degrees.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in academic and professional writing.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-stakes applications simultaneously while maintaining quality.
  • Empathetic, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong interpersonal skills to build trust with clients.
